You know what they say, “A problem shared is a problem halved”. Just chatting through an issue with someone who is impartial, independent and detached from the environment, can give a fresh perspective and provide some options for resolving the issue.
In the work environment, things aren’t quite so easy. In a world where we’re our actions and performance are continually judged and measured, it’s often difficult to have a trusted mentor at work, to whom you can turn for advice when you hit issues. Often, the act of asking for help can be seen as a sign of weakness, rather than an indication that you’re ready to accept new ideas and different opinions.
At Syniad IT we’ve been giving this some thought. Our business is built on long-term relationships, with trust, respect and credibility at their core. What if we could demonstrate these qualities whilst also adding some value? What if we could build some new relationships on a pro-bono basis (that’s free of charge!), by offering IT leaders somewhere where they could go where they could speak openly without recrimination and judgement?

That’s why today, we’re really pleased to announce our Surgery sessions. A surgery provides you, or your team, a free 2-hour consulting session with one of our senior consultants. We’ll do our best to match the consultant to the issue you describe.
